With the ever changing landscape of cybersecurity threats, Flock needs to quickly identify and remediate threats that could impact Flock. As we look to improve cybersecurity in other key domains, we need someone who can drive these projects but also help uplift our current security program. The Skillset Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Continuously monitor the organization’s network, systems, and applications for security breaches or intrusions. Respond promptly to security incidents, investigate root causes, and implement remediation measures. Threat Intelligence Analysis: Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and vulnerabilities. Analyze threat intelligence reports and assess their relevance to the organization’s security posture. Utilize collected threat intelligence to enrich alerts. Proactively identify potential risks and recommend appropriate countermeasures. Monitor identity governance tools to identify anomalies in authentication activity. Vulnerability Assessment: Review regular vulnerability assessments to identify critical weaknesses in the organization’s infrastructure and applications. Collaborate with relevant Flock teams to prioritize and address other security vulnerabilities. Security Design: Participate in the design and implementation of IT and security solutions. Review proposed projects and initiatives to ensure that security requirements are adequately addressed. Security Incident Forensics: Perform forensic analysis of security incidents to determine the scope and impact of breaches. Document findings and recommendations for improving incident response procedures and mitigating future risks. Security Tools and Technologies: Evaluate, deploy, and manage security tools and technologies (e.g., SASE, DLP, endpoint protection) to enhance the organization’s security posture. Stay updated on emerging security technologies and recommend strategic investments. Incident Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation for security events, including root cause analysis, impact assessment, and remediation steps taken. Communicate findings to management and relevant stakeholders. Participate in an environment of continuous evolution, offering improvements, automations, and detections to drive maturity for the team. Provide guidance and support to other teams on security-related matters, including identity management principles and best practices. Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box?
