While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.
We’re looking to hire a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join one of our teams within the Platform Product Group. The Platform Product Group’s mission is to build a trusted, scalable, and compliant platform to maximize velocity, efficiency and quality. They build the foundations that can be used by multiple products and teams at Coinbase so that users can have a consistent and high-quality experience.
About the team:
The AI and Automation team envisions a future where AI-powered operations lead to seamless, delightful experiences for customers and maximum value for shareholders. Towards this vision, our strategy is to 1) start with automating two key areas with Agentic AI: Customer Support and Compliance, 2) incorporate learnings from this automation experience and build primitives and orchestration solutions that allow us to scale and 3) scale across a variety of domains enabling AI to enhance every part of customer experience and internal processes.
It’s day 1 for us. We’re laser focused on automating customer support and compliance processes today. This is not just focused on driving efficiencies by automating manual processes, but reimagining what processes and systems must look like in a fully AI driven automated world, and then bring that vision to reality working across cross functional teams to offer a delightful customer experience, improving compliance posture and delivering outsized shareholder value.
