Coinbase Growth is a consumer-facing team that works on scaling Coinbase by identifying the highest impact opportunities that better connect users and maximize core product value. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and system-thinking Product Manager to join our Incentives team—the central system that will power all rewards, promotions, and user bonuses across Coinbase.

Your mission is to build the "incentives-as-a-service" engine for all of Coinbase. You will own the incentive primitives (the core building blocks) that empower product teams, and the intelligent systems that deliver the right offer, to the right user, at the right time.

We have three key objectives:

    • Step 1: Grow MATU -> Grow our addressable audience by using high-ROI incentives, like the Account Inflow Bonus, within strict profitability and risk guardrails.
    • Step 2: Drive Meaningful Engagement -> Use the incentives platform to run targeted, time-sensitive campaigns that help users take key actions, build investing habits, and discover core product value.
    • Step 3: Maximize Lifetime Value -> Retain our best users and increase loyalty by building scalable incentive programs that reward product expansion, depth of usage, and AUM growth.

What you’ll be doing:

    • Define and Build the "Incentive Primitives" from 0-to-1: This is the core of the role. You will lead the 0-to-1 design and build of the reusable "LEGO bricks" for the entire engine. You'll partner with Engineering to invent and launch the very first versions of core components, like advanced targeting/eligibility logic, a library of payout models, and standardized campaign management tools.
    • Build the "Incentives Engine" Vision: You will use your deep, hands-on learnings to define and own the 0-to-1 strategy for our new "incentives-as-a-service" engine. Your goal is to enable teams across Coinbase to launch high-ROI campaigns in days, not months.
    • Create the Intelligence Layer: Partner with Data Science to build the analytics and optimization layer for all incentives. You will define the data models and A/B testing frameworks required to rigorously measure ROI from day one.
    • Partner with Risk & Compliance: Lead the deep integration with our core risk and compliance systems to proactively prevent fraud and abuse, ensuring your engine is secure and scalable.
    • Lead Cross-Functional Execution: You will lead and align a large, cross-functional team of engineering, design, data science, risk, marketing, and finance partners to build and scale this critical, company-wide infrastructure.
