About the Team
As part of the International Payments team at Coinbase, you'll partner with internal teams and external partners to expand Coinbase's portfolio of fiat onramps and offramps in strategic markets globally. Your eye for UX polish and seamless user experiences will help to make cryptocurrency accessible and feel personalized to your friends, family, and everyone across the globe. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

    • Work with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
    • Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
    • Implement scalable, extensible, maintainable, and high-quality code for web and mobile while keeping the customer experience and quality top of mind.
    • Add positive energy in every meeting and make your coworkers feel included in every interaction.
    • Communicate across the company to technical and non-technical leaders with ease.
    • Deliver high-quality services efficiently within tight timeframes, navigating uncertainties with agility.

What we look for in you:

    • You have at least 2+ years of experience in developing web or mobile apps and shipping user-facing features with Typescript/JavaScript and modern, component-based frameworks like React or React Native.
    • You are familiar with current trends and best practices in frontend architecture, including performance, security, and usability.
    • You are familiar with product and design life-cycles, and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
    • You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
    • Be a self-starter, executing complex solutions with minimal guidance while ensuring efficiency and scalability.

Nice to haves:

    • Experience with GraphQL and React Relay for data fetching & rendering.
    • Experience in full-stack development with gRPC Golang servers.
    • Experience to build and maintain testable codebases, including API design and unit testing.
    • Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.
