THE WORK:

Ripple is looking for a Manager of Global Procurement to join our Financial Operations Team and contribute pivotally to Ripple’s global financial operations processes. You will report directly to the Director of Financial Operations, based in the San Francisco HQ office. The Global Procurement Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for developing and driving global procurement strategies to optimize costs, simplify and automate the buying experience, and drive value across the global organization. This role will lead a team of procurement professionals and collaborate with cross-functional collaborators to manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and negotiation to supplier management and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of accounting, and a track record of improving procurement in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's business strategic objectives.
    • Identify and evaluate new sourcing opportunities to drive cost savings and improve efficiency.
    • Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to inform procurement decisions.
    • Lead and mentor a team of global procurement professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
    • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
    • Apply procurement technology and tools to streamline processes and improve accounting data visibility.
    • Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent procurement practices and alignment with regional requirements.
    • Communicate effectively with collaborators at all levels of the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance is preferred)
    • Minimum of 8+ years in the field of Procurement and Supplier Management
    • Experience within P2P operations
    • Customer service mentality
    • Proficient in IFRS and US GAAP
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel is required
    • Familiarity with enterprise accounting systems (Oracle Fusion Cloud and/or high-tier accounting systems is a plus)
    • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Freshervice, Zip
    • Excellent time and project management skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work independently through complex tasks, drive initiatives with cross-functional teams, and present solutions
    • Meticulous with strong analytical skills and determined initiative
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Previous experience working within a high-growth SaaS company.
    • Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are preferred qualifications.
    • Experience with the cross-border payments/ fintech/ crypto/ blockchain industry will be a plus.
